On Thursday 3rd June, former South Belfast SDLP MLA, Carmel Hanna received an Outstanding Achievement Award at the annual dinner of the Royal College of Nursing in the Culloden Hotel.
Many of you will know that before entering politics, Carmel was a dedicated registered nurse and midwife. Therefore this particular award, aimed at recognising the outstanding service to the nursing and midwifery professions in Northern Ireland, is perfectly suited for Carmel and is a fantastic achievement.
