SDLP Health spokesperson Conall McDevitt MLA has called on the Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety to invest in maternity and neonatal services after a report published by three Northern Irish baby charities entitled “Every Baby Matters” found that 200 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth in this region, with a further 2,000 requiring urgent neonatal care. more »
